 Pakistan is an agricultural country where millions of people depend on fields and crops for their livelihood. But every year, during the monsoon season, floods not only destroy farmland but also leave thousands of families homeless. This year again, heavy rains and overflowing rivers have caused several areas to sink under water.

     Damages Caused by Floods

1. Destruction of Homes: Thousands of people have lost their shelters.



2. Ruined Fields and Crops: Farmers’ hard work throughout the year has gone to waste.



3. Loss of Livestock: Many animals drowned, leaving rural families without income.



4. Diseases: Contaminated water has spread cholera, malaria, and other illnesses.



5. Unemployment: Farmers and laborers are suffering from hunger due to lack of work.

        Our Responsibilities

Those who are blessed by Allah with resources should step forward to help flood victims.


Donate food, clean water, medicines, and clothes.


Support relief organizations such as Al-Khidmat Foundation, Edhi Trust, and Saylani Welfare.


Use social media to raise awareness so that more people come forward for

 help.

Rescue teams, the army, and welfare organizations are working day and night to move stranded people to safer areas. But in such a huge disaster, leaving everything to the government alone is not enough. We as citizens must also play our role.

Floods are a natural disaster, but with our compassion, cooperation, and support, we can save many lives. This is the time to stand together. Even a small contribution can become a ray of hope for someone in need
